Throckmorton holds book launch party

A local radio and television celebrity hosted a special book launch party and book signing on West Virginia Day, Sat., June 20th, at Borders book store in the Huntington Mall.

Local pastor Tim Throckmorton -- host of Tri-State Celebration for Daystar Television's local affiliate in Ashland, and Saturday morning radio show anchor on WOKE 98.3 Joy-FM -- celebrated the release of his first book "You Bought the Book, You Name It" on Saturday.

The book is published by Logan Publishing House, of Chapmanville, and represents a special collection of his most popular holiday writings, inspired by nature and is lighthearted and humorous.

The event was held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and was described by the publisher as a phenomenal success.

"A great number of folks came to the book launch at the Huntington Mall," said Keith Davis, of Logan Publishing, "and we want to thank all who attended for making this literary event such a great success."
